WQ Submersible Sewage Pump Model and Service Conditions

The WQ series is a reliable, widely used submersible sewage pump with a significant market presence. Favored for its excellent cost-performance ratio, reliable quality, ease of installation, and resistance to clogging and tangling, it is extensively used in sectors such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, mining, municipal sewage treatment, and construction sites. Although these pumps are commonly encountered, many people may not fully understand the WQ series—specifically the meaning of its model designations and its operating conditions. As technical specialists at Shanghai Shenyin Pump Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of WQ sewage pumps, we would like to provide a brief explanation of these details.

Model Designation: 50WQ15-8-0.75 — 50: Discharge outlet diameter; WQ: Submersible sewage pump; 15: Flow rate; 8: Head; 0.75: Motor power.

Operating Conditions:

1. Medium temperature: ≤40°C; medium density: ≤1200 kg/m³; pH value: 5–9.

2. During operation, the liquid level must not fall below the minimum level indicated by the "▼" symbol in the dimensional drawing (for models with an automatic cooling system). The "▽" symbol indicates the minimum level for models without an automatic cooling system.

3. Rated voltage: 380V; rated frequency: 50Hz. The motor operates normally when deviations in voltage and frequency do not exceed 5%.

4. The maximum diameter of solid particles passing through the pump must not exceed 50% of the pump's discharge outlet diameter.

We hope you have gained some useful insights from the information above regarding the WQ series submersible sewage pumps.
