I-1B Thick Slurry Pump

I. Product Overview

The I-1B series thick slurry pump is a single-screw positive displacement pump. It utilizes the rotation of an eccentric single-helix screw within a double-helix stator (liner) to drive the thick slurry along the helical grooves from the suction inlet to the discharge outlet, thereby achieving the pumping function.

II. Product Features

1. Capable of conveying high-concentration, high-viscosity fluids (up to 10,000 Pa·s) and slurries containing suspended particles.

2. Provides stable flow without turbulence, pulsation, agitation, or shearing of the slurry.

3. Discharge pressure is independent of rotational speed; high discharge pressure can be maintained even at low flow rates.

4. Flow rate is directly proportional to rotational speed; flow regulation can be achieved via a variable-speed mechanism or a variable-speed motor.

5. Strong self-priming capability; capable of directly drawing in liquid without the need for a foot valve.

6. Reversible operation; flow direction changes with the direction of rotation, making it suitable for applications requiring forward and reverse pipeline flushing.

7. Smooth operation with low vibration and noise levels.

8. Simple structure; easy to disassemble, assemble, and maintain.

This pump is widely used in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, brewing, papermaking, and food processing.

III. Structural Materials and Configurations

Type I-1BB: Cast casing; drive components (main shaft, screw, and connecting rod) made of 2Cr13 stainless steel. Suitable for conveying general neutral thick slurries, as well as mildly acidic or alkaline slurries.

Type I-1BF: Drive components and pump casing parts in contact with the slurry are made of stainless steel. Suitable for conveying food products, pharmaceuticals, and corrosive slurries.

Rubber liners are available in options including standard wear-resistant rubber, food-grade rubber, and oil-resistant rubber.

Drive configurations include direct motor-to-pump-shaft coupling, motor-to-pump coupling via a speed reducer, and motor-to-pump-shaft drive via V-belts and pulleys.

Motor options include standard enclosed, explosion-proof, and electromagnetic variable-speed motors; continuously variable transmissions (CVT) and gear reducers are also available for selection. (Material: Stainless steel, cast iron)
