I. Product Overview

The HY series pneumatic diaphragm pump is a new type of fluid transfer machine and represents a state-of-the-art pump design in the domestic market. Powered by compressed air, it is capable of handling a wide range of fluids—including corrosive liquids, fluids containing particles, and high-viscosity, volatile, flammable, or highly toxic substances—ensuring complete evacuation. It is available in eight sizes (diameters): φ10mm (3/8"), φ15mm (1/2"), φ25mm (1"), φ40mm (1-1/2"), φ50mm (2"), φ80mm (3"), and φ100mm (4"). Pump body materials include aluminum alloy, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, PP, and PVDF. Diaphragms are available in various materials—such as Nitrile rubber, Neoprene, Fluororubber, PTFE, EPDM, and Polyether elastomer—to meet diverse user requirements. These pumps are utilized across industries such as construction, food processing, petroleum, chemicals, electronics, ceramics, textiles, paints, and pharmaceuticals, and are suitable for installation in specialized environments to handle media that conventional pumps cannot.

II. Technical Parameters

Head: 0–84 m

Port size: 6–100 mm

Temperature: -15 to +150°C

Pressure: 0.1–0.7 MPa

Self-priming lift: 5–7 m

III. Product Features

The diaphragm pump is capable of conveying both free-flowing liquids and viscous or difficult-to-flow media, combining the advantages of submersible pumps, slurry pumps, and sewage pumps:

1. No priming required; suction lift up to 8.4 m, discharge head up to 84 m, and outlet pressure ≥ 8 kg/cm²;

2. Flow Spacious flow passages allow for the passage of particles up to 10mm in diameter; minimal pump wear occurs when pumping slurries or fluids containing impurities.

3. Head and flow rate can be infinitely adjusted by regulating the air valve opening.

4. The pump has no rotating parts or shaft seals; the diaphragm completely isolates the pumped medium from the pump's moving parts, preventing external leakage. Consequently, pumping toxic, volatile, or corrosive media poses no risk of environmental pollution or personal injury.

5. No electricity is required, making it safe and reliable for use in flammable or explosive environments.

6. Capable of operating while submerged in the medium.

7. Simple to use and reliable; operation is controlled simply by opening or closing the air valve. The pump is not damaged by prolonged dry running or sudden shutdowns due to unexpected conditions. It features a self-protection function that automatically stops the pump upon overload and restarts it once the load returns to normal.

8. Simple structure with few wearing parts; easy to install and maintain. The pumped medium does not come into contact with moving parts such as the directional control valve or connecting rods, avoiding the gradual performance degradation caused by the wear of rotors, pistons, gears, or vanes found in other pump types.

9. Capable of pumping relatively viscous liquids (viscosity below 8,000 cP).

10. The HY pneumatic diaphragm pump requires no oil lubrication; dry running causes no damage to the pump—a key feature of this model.
