I. Product Overview

SBLW-X

The SBLW-X fully automatic tank-type non-negative pressure water supply equipment is a next-generation product developed as an upgrade to existing constant-pressure variable-frequency and non-negative pressure water supply systems. It comprises a stainless steel water tank, specialized stainless steel domestic water pumps, a fully automatic intelligent variable-frequency control cabinet, a non-negative pressure device, a booster unit, a water intake device, and a pressure-stabilizing tank. It utilizes microcomputer control to operate variable-frequency pumps at specific speeds, leveraging the existing pressure energy of the municipal water supply to ensure constant output pressure for users. Key advantages include energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, low noise levels, and stable water supply pressure.

The system features a dual-inlet design: one line feeds into the water tank, while the other leads to the flow stabilizer. When water demand is low and municipal supply pressure is high, the intelligent integrated tank-and-pump station draws water directly from the municipal network to provide superimposed-pressure supply. When municipal supply pressure is low, the booster unit activates to pressurize water from the tank to the set service pressure, compensating for the deficit. This achieves energy efficiency, prevents secondary pollution, and ensures constant pressure supply without impacting the municipal water network.

II. Environmental Conditions

1. Ambient temperature: 5–40°C

2. Relative humidity: ≤85% (at 20 ± 5°C)

3. Medium temperature: 4–70°C

4. Power supply voltage: 380V (+5%, -10%)

III. Product Features

1. Constant Pressure Maintenance

The SBLW-X fully automatic tank-type non-negative pressure variable-frequency water supply equipment monitors outlet pressure in real-time via pressure sensors. It compares the detected value with the setpoint to determine the number of active motors/pumps and the variable-frequency drive's output frequency (which dictates motor/pump speed), thereby achieving constant-pressure water supply. When pressure fluctuations in the municipal water supply network cause the pressure to drop below normal levels—resulting in an inflow rate temporarily lower than the outflow rate—the system automatically adjusts the pressure-stabilizing device to the optimal position. It then activates the booster unit to draw water from multiple points and increase pressure until the inlet pressure matches the normal municipal network level, ensuring sufficient water supply to meet user demands.

2. High Level of Automation

The system features fully automatic control, including manual/automatic switching, timed rotation between main and auxiliary pumps, pressure adjustment, constant pressure maintenance, and protections against high/low voltage, phase loss, leakage, overload, overheating, water shortage, and instantaneous tripping. It also supports automatic shutdown during periods of no water usage. Additionally, a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) can be configured to allow for visual remote adjustment, monitoring, and maintenance.

3. Hygienic Design: All wetted parts are constructed from food-grade materials, such as stainless steel, complying with international hygiene standards for water-contact equipment.

4. Direct-Pressure Operation and Cost Savings

The system maintains constant pipeline pressure by adjusting the number of active pumps and their operating speeds based on water demand; higher demand triggers higher power input, while lower demand reduces power input. During periods of low demand (e.g., at night), the system utilizes a low-power pump with variable frequency drive (VFD) to maintain constant pressure. Continuous operation at peak efficiency points significantly lowers operating costs, achieving energy savings of over 60%. When municipal network pressure is available, the system only needs to provide supplemental pressure, achieving the same output as traditional reservoir-based systems while drawing less power from the grid—resulting in remarkable energy efficiency. Furthermore, the system operates fully automatically without the need for dedicated personnel. The absence of reservoirs or civil-engineering water storage structures—and the lack of complex water treatment equipment—eliminates the need for periodic cleaning and disinfection, further reducing operating costs.

5. Back-flushing Function

The SBLW-X fully automatic tank-type non-negative pressure VFD water supply equipment includes a back-flushing control function. After the water tank has been in use for a period of time, the system utilizes high-pressure water from the pumps to periodically flush the tank and discharge water containing impurities. This prevents the accumulation of sludge or debris inside the tank, ensuring clean water for the user. IV. System Schematic Diagram
